INTERESTED PLAYERS:
The Wolf Pack team will play an NPSFL minimum of 4 games. We typically attempt to schedule 5 to 6 games.
Our annual schedule includes our league host & travel game. Each year we will travel to one team out of state. When we travel, all personnel who travel; board members, coaches, players, etc.... are responsible for thier own travel expenses. Our host team will put us up in a hotel at their expense and provide us team transportation.
Also, each year we will host a team from out of state. We also have annual games against in-state rivals, the Houston Gunners and the Dallas Defenders. Our in-state games include the annual competition for the the Best-In-Texas trophy. This is a coaches trophy, and the winner keeps possession of the trophy until they lose to another in-state team.
Preperations for our season begin during the Fall with our annual Fall Mini-Camp in October. We practice each Saturday, installing the defense and offense with the new additions to the league. Fall mini-camp gives our rookies a chance to show where they will best serve the team.
Regular team practices begin in January and run through the end of the season. Practices are held each Saturday from 9:00am-11:00am, with the exception of certain holidays.
Anyone interested in joining the team as a player is encouraged to contact Head Coach/GM Ron Phillips @ ronphillips@austin.rr.com for more information.
Individuals interested in participating as a player must meet one of the following criteria:
- Full Time:

Those individuals interested in participating should understand they are responsible for providing thier own safety equipment (i.e., helmet - Notre Dame gold with black facemask, should pads, lower body pads). Practice jerseys and practice pants are provided to you. Equipment can be purchased from our equipment provider in Georgetown:

ADDITIONAL INSURANCE COVERAGE:
When participating with the Wolf Pack, you will be participating in an off-duty capacity. Any injuries you might sustain will have to be covered by your health insurance. There is a great option available to law enforcement officers and firefighters to help supplement their insurance.
The Police and Fireman’s Insurance Association (PFIA) offer this benefit. Our local agent is Andrew Chelf (AFD), and he can be reached at (512) 415-9144, and by e-mail Achelf@gmail.com. You may also review the agency’s website at http://www.pfia1913.org.
If you work for the Austin Police Department we have a payroll deduction for the Police and Firemen's Insurance through APA. The same option might be available for members of the Austin Fire Department.
Anyone who would like to know if this coverage is available for them is encouraged to contact the local agent, Andrew Chelf.
